GYEONGGI SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL TO CHILDREN I GIVE MY HEART
On behalf of all of our students, teachers and staff members, I sincerely welcome you to Gyeonggi Science High School for the Gifted. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the 10th principal of GSHS. As of 2022, it has been exactly 40 years since GSHS was established as the first science high school in South Korea. Since then, we have led the way in gifted education for students who show exemplary talent in science and math. Here at GSHS, we strive to go from good to great. Our mission is to make sure that students are engaged in a collaborative and dynamic learning environment. The staff at GSHS is devoted to not only providing students with cutting-edge research opportunities, but also ensuring that they grow into self-reflective, leading members of society. We persist in creating an educational experience that maximizes developing global awareness and individual student success so that our students are empowered to look to the future and mature into prospective leaders of our country. As an educational institution emphasizing growth, we welcome and encourage parental involvement and look forward to hearing any sincere advice or opinions you wish to share. In turn, I will exert all my effort to support GSHS and its legacy. Thank you.
